Haute couture, if it is an ancient know-how, recognizable both in France and in the world, is primarily the adaptation of concepts that are more readily studied in philosophy lessons than in fashion schools: body and mind, being and appearance, meeting the needs and desires or an endless search for pleasure. Designers Iris Van Herpen, Yuima Nakazato, Imane Ayissi, Adeline André and Alexandre Vauthier decoded these concepts.
